CEC report: Over 16 percent of people voted at Georgian municipal elections thus far

Some 16.65 percent of voters have today voted in the municipal elections in Georgia as of 12:00 (local time), the spokesperson of Georgian Central Election Commission, Yekaterina Azarashvili told reporters.

She said 571,123 people voted in the municipal elections as of 12:00.

In comparison, some 17.15 percent of voters took part in Georgian presidential elections in 2013 as of 12:00.
