Georgia discusses its macroeconomic indexes with IMF

The macroeconomic situation in Georgia was discussed during the meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Azim Sadikov, IMF Resident Representative in Georgia, Georgian government's press service told Trend on Sept.18.

The two sides emphasized the steady growth of Georgian economy and expressed hope that the country will achieve a 5 percent growth in its economy in 2014.

They also discussed the parameters of the state budget for 2015.

The meeting was also attended by Georgian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri and Secretary of the Economic Council Roman Chkhenkeli.
