Georgia prioritizes the further intensification of cooperation with Ukraine, Georgian Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili said during a phone conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.
Beruchashvili reiterated Georgia's strong support to the government and people of Ukraine, Georgian Foreign Ministry said on Nov.17.
Georgian minister expressed hope that with the support of the international community, Ukrainian government will succeed to restore the country's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Klimkin, for his part said that Ukraine is ready to intensify the relations with Georgia in all spheres, including in the issue of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
The foreign ministers said that it is important to develop new mechanisms by using various regional formats in order to contribute to the process of Georgia's European integration.
