The heads of government of Georgia and Moldova agreed on the establishment of the Georgian-Moldovan intergovernmental economic commission Feb.26 in Brussels, the press service of the government of Georgia told Trend.

Irakli Garibashvili and Chiril Gaburici noted the successful cooperation between Georgia and Moldova in the customs and law enforcement fields.

They said that the creation of a new commission will serve to increase the intensity of economic cooperation between Georgia and Moldova.

At the meeting Gaburici expressed support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia within its internationally recognized borders, as well as the aspiration of the country for the Euro-Atlantic structures.
