Czech delegation gets acquainted with training of Georgian servicemen

The government delegation from the Czech Republic, which is on a working visit to Georgia, has visited the Vaziani military base (near Tbilisi) and got acquainted with the training of the Georgian servicemen, Sputnik news agency reported, referring to the press service of the defense ministry of Georgia.

The government delegation from the Czech Republic, which is on a working visit to Georgia, has visited the Vaziani military base (near Tbilisi) and got acquainted with the training of the Georgian servicemen, Sputnik news agency reported, referring to the press service of the defense ministry of Georgia.

"Members of the delegation liked the fourth mechanized brigade infrastructure and opportunities for training very much," the deputy chief of general staff of the Georgian armed forces, colonel Omar Begoidze said.

"Our Czech friends appreciate the contribution to global security made by the Georgian armed forces."

After inspecting the Vaziani military base, the delegation visited the Alekseevka mixed air base (near Tbilisi), where they got acquainted with the possibilities of the Georgian air force, said the press service of the ministry.

The delegation from the Czech Republic, which includes the head of the defense committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic David Kander and Deputy Defense Minister Tomas Kuchta, arrived in Georgia on the morning of Sept.7.
