Georgia imported $87,000 worth of sturgeon caviar from January through September 2021, which is an increase of 63 percent, compared to the same period of 2020, National Statistics Office (Geostat) said, Trend reports via Georgian media.
TOP-3 exporters of sturgeon caviar to Georgia (Jan. through Sept. 2021):
Italy – $38,000;
Russia – $27,000;
China – $12,300.
According to Geostat, Georgia purchased $309,000 worth of salmon caviar over first 9 months of 2021, which is an increase of 52 percent, compared to the reporting period of 2020.
TOP-3 exporters of salmon caviar to Georgia (Jan. through Sept. 2021):
Russia – $182,800;
Belarus – $90,800;
Ukraine – $28,700.
