Georgia’s exports to Azerbaijan from January through September 2021 amounted to $400.2 million, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
According to Geostat, the current figure increased by 22.3 percent, compared to $327.1 million over the reporting period of 2020.
TOP-5 exported commodities from Georgia to Azerbaijan (Jan. through Sept. 2021):
Transport-related equipment – $207.1 million;
Industrial supplies – $67.6 million;
Food and beverages – $48 million;
Consumer goods – $47.8 million;
Capital goods – $24.2 million;
Azerbaijan ranks 3 among top trading partners by exports with 13.4 percent share in the total Georgian exports.
Meanwhile, total Georgian exports from January through September 2021 amounted to $2.9 billion, which is an increase of 24 percent, compared to $2.4 billion over the same period of 2020.
