Georgia offers investment opportunities to MEDEF

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili introduced investment opportunities of Georgia and the favorable business environment to the members of the Movement of the Enterprises of France (MEDEF), Trend reports via the press service of the Government Administration.

“The Head of Government emphasized Georgia's unique location, strategic relations, and FTAs with the EU, the CIS, Turkey, and China, an opportunity for foreign investors to reach markets freely,” the statement said.

Garibashvili thanked the French entrepreneurs for their visit to Georgia and interest in the country's investment opportunities, noting that investors will have maximum support from the Georgian government.

According to the PM, the delegation of French businessmen confirms the great interest of France in the Georgian market, which is welcomed and appreciated.

The French delegation included businessmen working in the fields of infrastructure, construction, engineering, agriculture, energy and other fields, who are studying potential investment projects in Georgia.

The meeting was attended by the French Ambassador to Georgia Diego Colas, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Environment and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava and the Head of the Government Administration Ilia Darchiashvili, the statement said.
