Georgia’s imports from Turkmenistan from January through October 2021 amounted to $164.2 million, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The current figure increased by 229 percent, compared to $49.9 million over the same period of 2020, the report said.
TOP-5 Georgia’s imports from Turkmenistan (Jan. through Oct. 2021):
Fuels and lubricants – $152.9 million;
Industrial supplies – $8.4 million;
Transport equipment – $1.7 million;
Capital goods – $771,590;
Consumer goods – $356,870.
Meanwhile, Georgia’s imports from January through October 2021 amounted to $7.9 billion, which is an increase of 22.3 percent, compared to $6.4 billion over the reporting period of 2020.
