Georgia’s imports of fuel and lubricants from Kazakhstan in October 2021 amounted to $273,760, which is 9 times less, compared to $2.6 million over the same period of 2020, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office (Geostat).
However, the same amount was 22 times up, compared to $12,350 worth of fuel and lubricants imported from Kazakhstan in September 2021.
Georgia’s import of fuel and lubricants from Kazakhstan from January through October 2021 amounted to $2.4 million, which is a decrease of 612 percent, compared to $17.1 million over the same period of 2020.
According to Geostat, Georgia’s imports of petroleum and petroleum oils from Kazakhstan over the first 10 months of 2021 amounted to $1.09 million, which is 14 times less, compared to $15.7 million over the reporting period of 2020.
Georgia imported $725,160 worth of petroleum gases from Kazakhstan over the reporting period of 2021, which is a decrease of 36.2 percent, compared to $988,220 over the same period of 2020.
Meanwhile, Georgia’s total imports of fuel and lubricants from January through October 2021 decreased by 35.2 percent, compared to $731.8 million over the same period of 2020, and amounted to $989.8 million.
