Turkey’s aviation fuel imports to Georgia decrease

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. Georgia’s aviation fuel imports from Turkey in January 2022 amounted to 3,947 tons, which is a decrease of 45 percent, compared to 7,136 tons in the same month of 2021, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

The number of Turkey’s aviation fuel exports to Georgia in 2021 totaled 4.610 million tons, which is a large decrease of 94.4 percent, compared to 82.9 million tons in 2020.

Taking into account that Turkey’s total fuel exports to Georgia in January 2022 amounted to 558,947 tons, we can surmise that there is an increase of 3 percent, compared to the same month of 2021 (542,290 tons).
