BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 10. Georgians and Europeans are bound together by common values, which are fundamental, said Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the event dedicated to Europe Day, Trend reports via Georgian Government Administration.
According to him, the Association Agreement, a historic agreement signed in 2014, had yielded tangible results for the country such as: the introduction of Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) and visa-free regime.
"Georgia's European choice is a non-alternative decision not only of government, but also the choice of the Georgian people," he said.
The event dedicated to "Europe Day" was organized by the EU Delegation to Georgia. The event was attended by representatives of the executive and legislative branches of government.
