BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19. Georgia’s total trade turnover with Azerbaijan in April 2022 increased compared to April 2021, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office (Geostat).
Georgia’s total trade turnover with Azerbaijan in April 2022 amounted to $89.9 million, which is an increase of 6.2 percent compared to $84.6million in the same month of 2021.
In particular, Georgia’s imports from Azerbaijan in April 2022 totaled $46.8 million - an increase of 26.4 percent compared to the same month of 2021 ($37 million).
However, Georgia’s exports to Azerbaijan in April 2022 decreased by 9.6 percent, compared to the reporting period of 2021 - from $47.6 million to $43 million.
Meanwhile, Georgia’s total foreign trade turnover in April 2022 amounted to $1.3 billion, which is an increase of 18.1 percent, compared to $1.1 billion over the same period of 2021.
