BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 8. Georgia shared data on the total value of car re-exports to Azerbaijan from January through June 2022, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
According to the statistics, Georgia’s re-export of cars to Azerbaijan in the first half of 2022 amounted to $96.5 million, which is a decrease of 14.9 percent compared to the same period of 2021 ($113.5 million).
The number of the re-exported cars from Georgia to Azerbaijan in the reporting period totaled 11, 677 cars, which is a decrease of 30.9 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2021 (16,906).
Meanwhile, Georgia’s total re-export of cars from January through June 2022 reached $191 million, which is also a decrease of 6.8 percent compared to $205 million in the first half of 2021.
