BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 7. The number of visitors traveling from Azerbaijan to Georgia significantly increased in November 2022, Trend reports with reference to the National Tourism Administration of Georgia.
According to statistics, the number of visitors arriving in Georgia from Azerbaijan in November this year amounted to 12,419 people, which is an increase of 54 percent over the same month in 2021 (8,064 people).
Thus, Azerbaijan ranked 7th among countries in the world in terms of the number of visitors to Georgia in November 2022.
During the reporting month, Russia ranked first (108,247 people), followed by Türkiye (101,940 people) and Armenia (71,785 people).
Meanwhile, the total number of visitors to Georgia in November this year amounted to 471,165 people, which is 2.5 times higher compared to the same month last year (180,963 people).
