Georgia, Tbilisi / Тrend corr N. Kirtskhalia / NATO Secretary General, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, is expected to visit Tbilisi from 2 to 4 October, as was reported in Brussels on 4 September after a meeting between the NATO Secretary General and the Georgian Foreign Minister, Gela Bezhuashvili.

"NATO members were participating in this meeting and we got familiar with the ongoing processes in Georgia regarding the re-formation of Georgia's Military Forces. It is remarkable that there were no questions on this subject. Our partners are well aware of everything in connection to this. We have completely fulfilled undertaken obligations, therefore there are no questions," Bezhuashvili noted.

NATO representatives were mainly interested in political issues regarding neighbouring countries, the Georgian Foreign Minister said. "There were many questions regarding the incident in Tsitelubani. We thanked the countries who sent their experts to study the incident," he said.

Bezhuashvili voiced his hopes and confidence about an adequate reaction from the international community regarding Tsitelubani.
