The Turkish police have held a mass detention of persons suspected of having ties with the ‘Islamic state’ terrorist group (aka IS, ISIL, ISIS or Daesh) in 29 provinces of the country, the Anadolu Agency reported Feb. 6.
Reportedly, 763 people have been detained.
During the searches, a large number of documents related to the IS, books, weapons, cartridges and others have been found in the apartments of the detainees.
