A flooding caused by heavy downpour has killed at least seven people here, local authorities in Sierra Leone have said, Trend reports citing Xinhua.
The heavy downpour, which started from Friday, has brought the city to a standstill.
Three of the seven victims died after a perimeter fence collapsed on their residence, while the remaining were killed by the flood which engulfed their residences.
Flooding and mudslide are common during the country's rainy season, which has killed hundreds of people last August.
