BİSHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, November 6. The Turkic Investment Fund will soon begin its full operational activities, said Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Trend reports.
Omuraliev made the statement ahead of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Turkic States. He highlighted that Turkic-speaking countries already collaborate through various platforms, such as TURKSOY and the Parliamentary Assembly.
He also noted that the Turkic Investment Fund was established with a portfolio of $500 million and has already commenced operations, with the first projects underway. “I believe it will soon begin full operational activity,” Omuraliev added.
The secretary general further emphasized that the fund’s primary focus is on fostering business development and boosting mutual trade.
