Saudi combat jets hit rebel targets in Yemen

Up to six Yemeni Shiite rebel positions inside the Yemeni soil were hit during five Saudi air raids on Saturday, the rebels said in a press release, Xinhua reported.
The Saudi jet fighters have thrown 145 missiles up till now, targeting areas in al-Malahidh, Shada, Hasama and Haidan districts, in addition to Mount Himar and Ghafrah regions in the Yemeni northern province of Saada, said the press release posted on the rebel Website.
The targeted positions of Shiite rebels, known also as Houthis, were far away from the Saudi southern demarcated borderline, some 15 km into the Yemeni territory.
The rebel claim on the Saudi army 'interference' came amid continual official reports, in which the Yemeni government always denied that Saudi jets attacked targets inside its territories, describing such rebel claims as fabricated, false and baseless.
