One person was killed and nine others were wounded in separate bomb attacks in Baghdad on Sunday, a local police source said, Xinhua reported.

One person was killed and nine others were wounded in separate bomb attacks in Baghdad on Sunday, a local police source said, Xinhua reported.
   At first, two roadside bombs went off simultaneously at a foot patrol of Iraqi police in Ad-Dora district of southern Baghdad, the explosions killed one of the patrol officers and injured three others, and damaged several shops and nearby buildings, the police source said on condition of anonymity.
   Later, three Iraqi policemen and three civilians were wounded when a roadside bomb targeted a police patrol went off in Ghazaliya area western of Baghdad, he added.
   Sporadic attacks are still common in the Iraqi cities more than four months after the country held its landmark parliamentary election which is widely expected to shape the political landscape of the war-torn country.
