The Jordanian government on Wednesday strongly protested what it called "an aggression" by Israeli policemen on two officials of the Jordanian embassy in Tel Aviv on Tuesday, according to the official Petra news agency.
Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh summoned the Israeli ambassador in Amman and told him the Jordanian government "strongly condemned and rejected the aggression on the two embassy officials by Israeli security men", DPA reported.
Jordan concluded an official peace treaty with Israel in 1994, one of only two Arab states to have full diplomatic ties with the Jewish state.
