At least eight people - including four policemen - were killed and 50 injured Monday in two suicide attacks near a government compound in the city of Ramadi, DPA reported.
The first blast came from a suicide bomber in a car near the Ramadi government compound, around 110 kilometres west of Baghdad, Aswat al-Iraq news agency reported.
The second attack came from a suicide bomber wearing a belt of explosives who approached the scene of the first attack after crowds of policemen, medics, and civilians had gathered. He blew himself up after policemen tried to prevent him from entering the area.
