A series of attacks targeted Iraqi Christians Thursday in Baghdad, leaving two killed and 14 others wounded, an interior ministry sources said, Xinhua reported.
The attacks occurred in different parts of Baghdad at night, the first roadside bomb exploded near the house of a Christian in the Ghadeer neighborhood southeast Baghdad, killing two and wounding three, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
The several other roadside bombs exploded in Karrada, Yarmouk, al-Khadra, Saydiya and Dora district of the capital, leaving a total of 11 Christians wounded, he added.
The blasts were clearly heard by Xinhua reporters in central Baghdad.
Violence and sporadic high-profile bomb attacks continue in the Iraqi cities despite the dramatic decrease of violence over the last three years.
