Unrest on the streets of Egypt turned more violent after dark Wednesday, with the first use of Molotov cocktails and tear gas being exchanged, according to eye witnesses in Cairo, DPA reported.
Heavy clashes between anti-government protesters and supporters of President Hosny Mubarak have been ongoing for several hours, with both sides pelting each other with fire-bombs, rocks and other items.
