Journalists and human rights activists in Cairo said they were being attacked on Thursday, as violence in the capital continued.
Activists at the Hisham Mubarak Centre - a human rights organisation - were reportedly being barricaded inside their offices by pro-government supporters, Western human rights activists said, DPA reported.
Journalists were reporting more arrests, damage to their equipment and random attacks. Al Arabiya television said a camera crew was beaten.
One reporter for a Western media outlet said the incidents appeared to be intentional.
