An explosion occurred in a car park outside the High Court in Indian capital New Delhi Wednesday, news reports said.
Police and fire brigades responded, but no casualties were reported, IANS news agency said.
Police said it was not clear what caused the blast. A car damaged by the explosion was being examined by the anti-terrorism squad. All vehicles in the area were being searched, NDTV news channel reported.
Unnamed officials were quoted as saying an unidentified object kept near the damaged car could have caused the blast, or it could be caused by an overheated radiator, DPA reported.
