Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohammad el- Orabi condemned Wednesday Israeli naval forces' action against the French ship "Dignity" bound for the Gaza strip with humanitarian aids, Xinhua reported.

The action was a violation of international laws and shed the light on the miserable strip, which has been under a harsh and unfair siege for four years, the minister said.

Orabi said this action sent a message to the whole world that the blockage should end.

Egypt will continue to help end the strip sufferings by sending its humanitarian aids, and easing Palestine migration from and to Gaza through the Rafah crossing along the border, he added.

On Tuesday, Israeli naval forces intercepted the French ship carried with humanitarian aid and 16 pro-Palestinian activists and obliged the ship to sail to an Israeli port for security measures and checkup.

Egyptian authorities decided in May to open the Rafah border crossing with the sieged Gaza Strip on a daily basis except for Fridays and national holidays.
