Egypt's new ministers took the oath of office in front of Hussein Tantawi, head of the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, on Thursday, the official MENA news agency reported.
The swearing-in ceremony was delayed for three days because of the protests against some candidates and Prime Minister Essam Sharaf's health condition, Xinhua reported.
Despite the reshuffle, a number of political and youth groups still call for nationwide protests with various demands.
