Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit Egypt

Erdogan will address the Egyptians from Tahrir square in the capital Cairo on September 12th, TRT reported.

The ministers to accompany Erdoğan on his visit have met at the Foreign Ministry to make a detailed assessment of the subjects to be taken up during Erdoğan's contacts.

Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız, Economy Minister Zafer Chaglayan, Transport Minister Binali Yıldırım and National Defense Minister İsmet Yılmaz are attending the meeting.

Erdogan's Gaza visit has not as yet gained clarity.

In a statement he made yesterday about the visit, Prime Minister Erdoğan said a decision about it will be made after consultations with Egyptian officials, adding that it may or may not take place.

Erdogan is expected to visit Tunisia and Libya after completion of his contacts in Egypt.
