Possible Egyptian presidential candidate Mohammad Al Baradei said on Sept. 26 Egypt still has a long and hard way to go to achieve a political transition to the democracy.

He accused the Government and Supreme Council of the Armed forces of failure of establishing stability in the country, Al Jazeera reported.

He urged not to wait for parliamentary elections and to adopt a new constitution, calling for swift solution for problems that Egyptians are suffering from.

Thousands of people in different cities across the country went to the streets and a one million march passed at Tahrir Square in Cairo beginning from January 25 to demand the resignation of President Mubarak and the dissolution of parliament. As a result, Mubarak announced about his resignation. The leadership passed to the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces and the parliament was dissolved.
