Yemen's opposition called for more demonstrations Saturday in the capital and across the country to honour Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakul Karman dpa reported
"We call on the free Yemeni people to take the streets and honour this great lady," anti-government websites said.
Karman, a human rights leader seeking to end the 33-year rule of President Ali Abdallah Saleh, won the Nobel committee's award Friday along with Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and her activist compatriot Leymah Gbowee.
