Millions of Muslims from around the world have arrived in the Saudi Arabian city of Mecca to mark the first day of Hajj, the largest religious pilgrimage in the world to the holiest site in Islam Al Jazeera reported
The vast number of pilgrims poses tremendous logistical challenges and the Saudi government has worked overtime to prepare security arrangements for the event.
