Egyptian PM: new government may comprise all political forces

Azerbaijan, Baku, November 25 / Trend, A. Tagiyeva /

All political forces of the country may join the new government, newly appointed Prime Minister of Egypt Kamalya al-Ganzuri told a press conference on Friday, Al-Jazeera reported.

The Prime Minister said the new government will serve to the interests of Egyptians.

Antiwar protest actions have already been continuing in Egypt for a week centered, like during the January popular revolt, at the Tahrir Square in Cairo.

The demonstrations are accompanied by disorders and clashes with police, as a result of which more than 40 people were killed and 4,000 were injured. Actions backing the Tahrir protests are staged in all major cities of Egyptian provinces.

The first round of parliamentary elections should be held in Egypt on November 28. Observers feared the voting could be frustrated due to the unquiet security situation; however, military authorities on Thursday confirmed the voting will be conducted on the scheduled day.
