The Arab countries have no united policy towards Syria, Al-Jazeera TV channel quotes Syrian President Bashar al-Assad as saying.
"Some Arab counties support Syria, however, they are forced by the external pressure to turn their policy against us," the President said.
He also said some countries of the region try to distort the events in Syria to lead the country to the crisis.
The President stressed that the only political reforms are not enough for Syria's stabilization, it is also necessary to fight against terrorism.
Syria has been gripped by an uprising calling for the ouster of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad since March. The UN has estimated that more than 5,000 people have been killed in the government crackdown against pro-democracy protesters.
