Newspaper: Syrian president's brother killed

The brother of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his right hand Maher al-Assad was killed on Friday, the newspaper Al-Shuruq reported.
It is reported that he had been fired thirty shots, in the result of which he was in intensive care for a long time and died of his wounds later.
Syria has been covered by anti-government speeches for more than year resulting in violent clashes. According to UN figures, the total number of victims in the country exceeds 10000. In its turn, the Syrian authorities say the number of those killed in clashes were over 2000soldiers and police officers against whom there are well-armed militants.
