Eighteen hostage-takers have been killed in the ongoing raid by Algeria's security forces at In Amenas gas complex, state media reported Friday.
APS news agency and Algerian radio both quoted security sources as saying 18 of the Islamist gunmen had been "rendered harmless," a euphemism that means they were killed, dpa reported.
