Third consignment of medical aid arrives in Syria
The third consignment of Iran's humanitarian aid including medicine and medical equipment was delivered to Syria on Saturday, IRNA reported.
Representative of Iran's ambassador to Syria, Seyed Mohammad Kazemi, who was at the airport on delivering the consignment, said that medicine and medical equipment have arrived here in three stages.
50 ambulances were also sent to Syria as part of the aid.
Syrian Health Minister Saad al-Nayef, by referring to damage done to the treatment sector, said that Syria's medical needs are around 200 million dollars.
Appreciating Iran's humanitarian aid for Syrian people, the minister said that the help will prevent death of many people suffering from the war.
