Tunisian security forces in deadly home raid
Six people have been killed after Tunisian security forces stormed a house in Oued Ellil where armed men and women along with children were hiding, the interior ministry has said.
At least five women and one man were killed in the raid while another man was hospitalised along with two children, interior ministry spokesman Mohamed Ali Aroui told reporters at the scene.
The ministry said in a news conference on Friday that the women shot at security forces who entered the house.
Oued Ellil was the site of more violence on Thursday in which a private security guard was killed, several people were injured and two fighters captured.
