BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) decided to close its offices in Moscow and Minsk, Trend reports citing Interfax.
This decision in the EBRD press release is called "the inevitable result of the actions taken by the Russian Federation with the help of Belarus".
"We continue to express our unwavering support for Ukraine and have already agreed on an initial €2 billion aid package for Ukraine and other war-affected countries," EBRD said.
EBRD has not invested in new projects in Russia since 2014.
