German Economic Minister does not Believe in Talks with ‘Weak Abbas’

Israel, Jerusalem / corr. Trend R. Abdullayev/ Mikhail Glos, the minister of economy of Germany met with Eli Ishaem, the minister of labour, industry and employment of Israel on 17 March, MIGNEWS reported. The ministers discussed the Palestine-Israel peace talks alongside with other issues.

According to Nana10.co.il, Mikhael Glos described the head of Palestine Administration Mahud Abbas as a 'weak leader who is not able to rule his people'. The German minister pointed out that he does not believe in the peace process with such a partner and proposed to improve the situation with the help of the European Union and especially with that of Germany.

It is worth mentioning that Angela Merkel, the German chancellor visited Israel on 17 March accompanied by nine government members. A joint meeting of the Israeli and German Cabinet of Ministers was held on 18 March.
