Palestinians Risk to Lose all Their Lands: Egyptian Foreign Minister

Abdullayev/ The foreign minister of Egypt Ahmad Abu al -Rayt said during his interview with the Qatari Ash-Shark that the Arabian countries must not refuse a peaceful initiative developed by Saudi Arabia and approved by the League of the Arab Countries, NEWSRU said.

According to the minister, there is no other way to solve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict as war with Israel is not acceptable at all. The Egyptian foreign minister said that if there is no progress in the peace process, the Palestinians 'risk to lose all their lands', Kol Israel radio said.

The minister also added that the only hope of the Palestinians to obtain a government is the recognition of Israel by the Arab countries and to continue peace talks. The peace initiative of Saudi Arabia was approved by the League of the Arab Countries as a program for normalizing relations with Israel.

At the end of February, the prince Saud al-Faysal, the foreign minister of Saudi Arabia, stated that the refusal by Israel to give response to the Saudi Arabian peace initiative will make Arabian countries to revise their relation with Israel. The peace initiative proposed by Saudi Arabian king Abdullah envisages the rights of the Palestinian refugees to return to their lands.
