Unknown Gaza militants on Wednesday morning fired two makeshift rockets into southern Israel, Israeli Radio Arabic service reported.
No injuries or damages were reported so far, Xinhua reported.
The rockets attack came as an Egyptian effort to mediate between Israel and Hamas to reach a long-term ceasefire stalled after Israel insisted no truce before the release of its captive soldier Gilad Shalit.
