Israel bombs Gaza tunnel; no casualties
The Israel Air Force (IAF) bombed a Gaza Strip tunnel leading into Israel overnight, scoring a direct hit, the military said in a statement Wednesday morning, DPA reported.
No casualties were reported.
The statement said the tunnel was "intended for infiltrating into Israel and executing terror attacks" against civilians and soldiers.
On Tuesday afternoon, the IAF killed two militants it said were preparing the launch a rocket at Israel. Three more were wounded in the strike.
The latest Israeli attacks come after militias in the Strip fired three rockets at Israel this week.
