Israeli Air Force struck out about seventy times at suspected militant targets in Gaza Thursday evening, following reports of a rocket landing outside the town of Rishon le-Zion, 15 kilometers from the Israeli capital killing no one, the Voice of Russia reported.
Both sides have suffered considerable losses since the start of Operation Pillar of Cloud with three Israelis killed and 45 injured and 19 people killed and 150 injured in Gaza.
The Israeli military has been moving ground troops and armor towards the Gaza Strip and has already been authorized to call up 30,000 reservists in case of need.
