The ceremony for signing national framework agreements is planned to occur in Israel on Monday. The agreements state that more than 20,000 apartments will be developed in the coming five years, Trend reports referring to The Jerusalem Post.
The signing ceremony will take place at City Hall and will be attended by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon, Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion, and the Construction and Housing Minister Yifat Shasha-Biton, among others.
According to the agreements, 8,000 of the newly-built apartments will be in the framework of urban renewal, with 3 million square meters of office space and a NIS 1.4 billion investment in infrastructure in old and new Jerusalem neighborhoods.
