( RIA Novosti ) - An Italian embassy car came under fire from unknown assailants in Moscow, Russian police said on Thursday.
The Italian embassy confirmed the information, saying the car belonging to the diplomatic mission's minister counselor was cut off by a Lada, whose passengers subsequently opened fire.
The attackers reportedly used an air gun, there were no injuries, and the embassy BMW was not damaged.
An investigation is underway.
