Ukraine, Kiev / Тrend corr Z. Novosvitski / The Ukrainian President Victor Yushenko repeatedly submitted recommendation to the Parliament to appoint Yuliya Timoshenko the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Ukrainian presidential press service reported.
That took place after in the evening of 11 December the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Arseniy Yatsenyuk officially transferred to the President the suggestion of the MP groups of the Ukrainian Parliament regarding repeated recommending Timoshenko for the position of Prime Minister.
On 12 December, the Ukrainian Parliament supported appointment of Timoshenko to this position. One vote lacked for appointment.
