( dpa ) - A large fire ripped through Iraq's central bank building in Baghdad in the early hours of Monday, causing material damage, police said.
The fire erupted in three floors of the bank's building on Rashid Road in the centre of Baghdad, a security source told the Voices of Iraq news agency.
Firefighters had extinguished the blaze, which has caused no casualties, the report said.
The government has opened an immediate investigation into the cause of the fire.
