( dpa )- Strong wind at the ski-jumping hill on Sunday forced the cancellation of a Nordic combined World Cup sprint competition.
Organizers failed twice to have all athletes jump as the competition had to be cancelled just like another sprint event scheduled for Friday.
It was not known whether the scrapped events will be held elsewhere later in the season. The Nordic combined World Cup continues next weekend in Zakopane, Poland.
